Fantasy Football picks: Week 6 TNF Patriots vs. Giants
Sony Michel – This will actually be the last pay up player that I will mention, simply because the rest are all unlikely to play. Michel had his best game of the season against Washington, rushing 16 times for 91 and a score. He actually caught three passes for 32 yards as well, after seeing only one target the entire season. Of course, this is an outlier, considering Rex Burkhead did not play. Speaking of which, Rex is questionable again and his status as of right now is unknown. If he were to sit, that gives Michel a massive boost.
Michel did see a slight increase in snaps, leading the team at 50% basically splitting them with James White. Sony is obviously the much better rusher and depending on the game script he could be in for well over 50% of the snaps in this game. The Giants actually have been doing pretty well against the run, but this game is going to be out of hand early. That will really benefit Sony, as he should be the main clock eater late in the game. He also faced a stacked box well over 50% of the time last week, and still had a great day rushing.
I really do not think that New York is going to stack eight, or nine guys to stop him. Their secondary would be beaten bad if they tried that, and they still have to account for Tom Brady. I fully expect a big game out of Michel.
