NBA Preseason DFS: Utah @ Milwaukee

Utah: Emmanuel Mudiay and Dante Exum are OUT.

Milwaukee: D.J. Wilson is QUESTIONABLE.

Utah is the only team on the slate tonight that hasn’t played a preseason game yet. We should see the debut of Mike Conley for the Jazz tonight and he makes for an interesting DFS play, but I also am a tad skeptical about how much we will see the Jazz stars with this being their first preseason game. It’s possible they let them go 20+ minutes, but the matchup is also not a very good one against a good Bucks team that should play their starters tonight after resting them on Monday. Rudy Gobert stands out as an elite play as he is a mismatch for Brook Lopez inside and centers are productive against the Bucks.

The Bucks are a tough team to peg tonight. While they should play their starters for the first time, how much do they really need to push them? They know what that first group can do and I have a hard time believing they will play them more than they need to in this game. Giannis is obviously an incredible fantasy player who could amass a ton of stats even in a short period, but his price (at least on FanDuel) is pretty prohibitive if we think he won’t play all that many minutes.

This game feels like a stay-away for me for the most part due to all the uncertainty on both teams, however, if you want to stack it to be contrarian in tournaments I would totally get that, too. At least it’s an 8:00 game and with no late games, we should hopefully have an idea of who’s playing by 7:00 lock tonight.

Elite Plays: Rudy Gobert

Also, Consider Giannis Antetokuonmpo, Khris Middleton, Thanasis Antetokuonmpo, Robin Lopez, Mike Conley,
