DraftKings college football picks October 10: For Evans’ sake

We have another two game DraftKings college football tournament for our Thursday night. We have another FunBelt tilt and an ACC matchup that will likely dominate the slate. The main reason for that is the names from North Carolina State and Syracuse are on your TV every weekend. You have to hunt for names from Monroe or Texas State.

More from DraftKings

This is one of those slates that should be fairly high scoring. Monroe had Florida State on the ropes in Tallahassee until they missed an extra point in overtime. Texas State is a lot of things, most of them bad (like the Jack-In-The-Box in downtown San Marcos), but they do happen to be good at home.

Thursday’s DraftKings college football slate was a bust because I didn’t have enough exposure to East Carolina. I faded Holton Ahlers, and that was enough to keep me below the cash line thanks to high ownership on Re’Mahn and Jadan Blue.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. DraftKings college football scoring realizes that!
