Fantasy Football: Week six position by position rankings
Wide Receivers
Will Fuller stole the show last week as the only player of the week to score over 50 PPR fantasy points. Michael Thomas and Chris Godwin were both outstanding plays as I predicted in my rankings last week. Amari Cooper took advantage of the game flow to score a ton of “garbage time” points late in his game while Dallas tried to mount a comeback against the Packers.
D.J. Chark really solidified himself as Gardner Minshew’s favorite target and a legitimate starting fantasy wide receiver, finishing as WR4 in week six. Adam Thielen’s prays were answered, as Cousins finally found him often and for two touchdowns on his way to 32 PPR fantasy points.
In addition to Michael Thomas being WR2 and Godwin being a top six option, I also nailed Allen Robinson being a top 10 play with Chase Daniel at quarterback, same with Julian Edelman against the Redskins.
Despite a high scoring affair against the Texans, Julio Jones laid an egg in week six after being my number one fantasy receiver last week. Although I expected Keenan Allen to regress a bit for his number one perch against Chris Harris and the Broncos, he was completely shut down.

Julio Jones has been a bit bottled up in two straight games. I think this is the week he breaks back out and dominates. The Cardinals have been awful against opposing passing games, and Jones is one of the best receivers in the league. I’ve got him number one again this week.
Amari Cooper has been outstanding lately, and the Cowboys should be able to throw at will against the Jets. This game has a chance to turn into a blowout which would lend itself more to Zeke than Cooper, but with Darnold back the Jets should be a bit more competitive and could force the Cowboys to at least occasionally throw the ball towards the end of the game.
Other receivers that I like this week are Tyreek Hill (if healthy), Julian Edelman (if the weather is completely awful), D.J. Chark, D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel, Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk, Terry McLaurin, and Stefon Diggs.
Receivers with tougher matchups include Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Alshon Jeffery, Courtland Sutton and Emmanuel Sanders, and Kenny Golladay. I wouldn’t necessarily sit all of these guys, but I would certainly temper expectations and consider leaving them on the bench if you have other options.
