Alabama vs. Texas A&M prediction, odds: How to bet and watch online
By Ethan Lee
Can the Texas A&M Aggies challenge the unbeaten Alabama Crimson Tide? Will playing this game in College Station make a difference in A&M’s favor?
Alabama is bent on winning the SEC once again. To do that, the Crimson Tide must first conquer the SEC West. Beating Ole Miss was simple enough for Nick Saban’s team. Will a trip to College Station, Texas to face off against Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies be any more difficult for the Tide?
Fisher was hired, and paid a rather large amount of money, by Texas A&M to win division, conference, and eventually national titles. The Aggies aren’t there quite yet, obviously, but being able to challenge Alabama would be a step in the right direction for A&M. Playing at home, against a Crimson Tide team that is dealing with injury issues, could be the perfect moment for A&M to introduce some chaos into the SEC West race.
But that means that A&M either has to successfully slow down or outscore Bama’s offense right now. And that’s not easily done given how good Tua Tagovailoa is playing. The junior quarterback is putting up stats that place him at the forefront of the Heisman race, throwing for over 300 yards per game and 23 touchdowns against zero interceptions through five games. Stopping, or even slowing, Tagovailoa is an unenviable task.

Prediction
Expect Texas A&M to come out firing following the Aggies’ bye week. A&M will have to do everything it can to create pressure on Alabama early in this game if the Aggies expect to even create a situation where they could upset the Tide. But, also expect Tagovailoa and Alabama’s offense to score seemingly when they want. Saban should earn another win over one of his former assistants on Saturday afternoon.
Score: Alabama 45, Texas A&M 21
