Dillon Danis to pay Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu membership for bulled youth
One day after sharing the video of a young man being bullied and beaten, Dillon Danis has reached out to him and says he will pay a jiu-jitsu gym membership for him.
One day after sharing a video on social media that left his blood boiling, a kid being beaten up in a bathroom, Bellator MMA‘s Dillon Danis has reached out to the young man and has offered to pay for jiu-jitsu lessons for him.

On October 11, Danis shared a video to his Twitter that showed said young man surrounded by a group of what appeared to be fellow students in a school bathroom. After some words, the subject at hand is sucker-punched before the other students join in the beating.
“These videos break my heart,” Danis posted. “Nobody should have to go [through] this. If anyone knows how to contact him, I wanna get him into martial arts immediately.”
Now, it appears Danis was able to get in contact with the young man in question on social media and, as promised, to help in getting him martial arts lessons.
“That video broke my heart, my man,” Danis told him. “Sorry you had to go through that, but I got your back. Let’s do this.”
Danis himself got into jiu-jitsu as a teenager in order to learn to defend himself. He went on to win several medals in competitions around the world between 2012 and 2015 and earned notoriety as a training partner for Irish UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
Danis made his professional MMA debut last year at Bellator 198, defeating Kyle Walker with a toe-hold submission in just under 100 seconds. Danis returned to the Bellator cage at Bellator 222 in June, scoring another first-round submission against Max Humphrey in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
