NFL DraftKings: Quarterbacks

Patrick Mahomes $7,500

You can’t go wrong with either quarterback from this game, but Mahomes might prove the better tournament option. For starters, he’s considerably more expensive than Watson. The fact that he’s also coming off a very unproductive game while Watson just torched Atlanta for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns should also work to keep him lower owned than the Texans’ quarterback. There’s also a decent chance that concerns about his ankle depress ownership as well. The point is, any time Mahomes might be overlooked in tournaments, he’s a guy I want exposure to.

Matt Ryan $6,400

If you haven’t figured it out by now, targeting any quarterback who is playing against the Cardinals is a good idea. They have allowed big game after big game, and Matt Ryan has been one of the hottest players in the league. The over/under is set at 51.5, and there’s a chance that with so much hype surrounding the Chiefs and Texans, Ryan might carry less ownership than he should.
