Fantasy football picks: Week 6 MNF Packers vs. Lions

Kerryon Johnson – When Anderson got shipped out of town, the Lions finally decided it was a good time to unleash Kerryon. While he is still waiting for the breakout game, Johnson has seen 20, and 26 rushing attempts in his past two games. Most recently torching the Chiefs for 125 yards. The Packers have had a good secondary, but has struggled heavily against the run. That defensive line has been bad in every game this season.

They give up the third-most points against opposing running backs, ranking 28th in DVOA against the rush. I think we will see another heavy dose of the rushing attack by Detroit in this game. If you factor in the increased snap count, workload, and production, Kerryon is an elite play at just 12k.

Kenny Golladay – Most people will look at this and say, well why isn’t Matt Stafford in the top studs section. To that I respond with, why would you pay 15k for Matt, when you can get Rodgers who has a higher ceiling, for just $500 more? That is why we are mentioning Kenny Golladay in the final spot of the stud section. He has replaced Marvin Jones at the top receiver in Detroit, getting a solid 36 targets through the first four games.

While the yards have not been great, he does have four scores. Green Bay does a pretty good job against opposing receivers, but they are not unbeatable by any means. Golladay is a great talent, and while I don’t think he gets a lot of yards in this game, he should be able to grab a touchdown.
