Before the 2019-20 NBA season begins, it’s time to take a look at all 30 teams and examine the biggest reason you should watch each one.

Before every new NBA season, optimism runs rampant through all 30 fanbases. The losses haven’t started piling up yet, the playoff heartbreaks are almost a whole year away and everyone has a chance of turning in a successful season. You can feel the positive vibes at every team’s Media Day, and they usually carry through until at least November for even the worst of teams.

The 2019-20 campaign will be no different, especially in a season where there’s no longer one indomitable juggernaut waiting at the top for its Larry O’Brien trophy. The Golden State Warriors dynasty may be over, and anywhere from 8-10 teams could realistically win the title this season, depending on who you ask. That gives these upcoming nine months of basketball an additional layer of intrigue.

The league is in as good a place as it’s ever been when it comes to young, burgeoning talent, as wave after wave of superstars seems to be crashing over the NBA each year. With so many teams capable of contending for a championship, plus so many more hoping to compete for a playoff spot, this season may really be as interesting as any in recent memory, and even the likely lottery have young stars in-the-making to look forward to.

From the title favorites to the potential bottom-feeders, it’s time to take a look at all 30 teams (alphabetically) and examine the biggest reason fans should tune in for their games in 2019-20.
