The College GameDay signs were out big time as the unbeaten Penn State Nittany Lions played host to the Michigan Wolverines at Beaver Stadium in Week 8.

College GameDay signs are a tradition unlike any other on Saturday mornings. And while they vary in quality from week to week, venue to venue, they are always entertaining. While that’s true, though, there were high hopes for what the Penn State Nittany Lions faithful would bring with their sign game ahead of a massive Week 8 showdown with the Michigan Wolverines.

Penn State has started the year 6-0 with one of the best defenses in the country and an explosive offense, looking overall like one of the most underrated teams in college football. There was never a doubt that the Penn State fans would bring the noise in Happy Valley. Sure enough, they did and these were the best College GameDay signs outside Beaver Stadium ahead of a Week 8 matchup against Michigan:

Saturday night’s matchup between Michigan and Penn State could go a long way in determining how things transpire in the Big Ten. Having said that, did the College GameDay signs live up to the hype or did they disappoint? That, as always, is up to you to decide.
