The Dallas Cowboys snapped a three-game losing streak in style, delivering an epic beatdown to the Philadelphia Eagles to assume complete control of the NFC East.

After a week of panic in Dallas, the Cowboys came out and helped their fans breathe easy with a dominating effort against their top competition in the NFC East. The Cowboys absolutely smoked the Philadelphia Eagles, cruising to a 37-10 win and established a stranglehold on the division.

This effort was different from the jump than the previous two for the Cowboys, who had fallen behind big in losses to the Packers and Jets. Dallas raced to a 27-7 lead over the Eagles in the first half, setting the tone with a physical defense that absolutely. embarrassed Carson Wentz and company.

Wentz delivered his worst performance of the season, completing just 16 of 26 passes for 191 yards with a touchdown against an interception and two lost fumbles. To be fair to Wentz, the Eagles’ offensive line was pretty much a sieve as he was sacked three times and hit on plenty of other occasions.

Dallas’ offensive line was fully intact with the returns of Tyron Smith and La’el Collins, and that made all the difference for a unit that looked completely out of sync for large portions of last week’s game against the Jets. Dak Prescott was sharp from the pocket, completing 21 of 27 passes for 239 yards and a score while rushing for another 30 on the ground with a second touchdown.

Ezekiel Elliott also got back on track in this one, rushing for 111 yards and a touchdown, while Amari Cooper chipped in five receptions for 106 yards in the victory. This was a huge statement for the Cowboys, who improve to 3-0 in the NFC East and humiliate the Eagles after head coach Doug Pederson declared earlier in the week that his team would walk into Dallas and emerge victoriously.
