DraftKings NBA Picks October 22: Old faces, new places
The NBA is already back on Tuesday with two games for our DraftKings NBA tournaments. The Lakers and Clippers are having an early battle of L.A. The New look Pelicans gets their passports ready and head north of the border to take on the defending champs.
Not that they even look like the same team anymore. Kawhi is still on the slate, but not for the Raptors. We also have a bunch of players we last saw in uniform for the Lakers playing for the Pelicans.
A new season will mean a little bit of a different format. It will still provide most of what you are used to, but I will go more into why I am thinking about one pick over the other. That way if you don’t agree with my particular analysis, you more easily know what to chase instead.
There isn’t much for injury news on the opening slate. A lot of that is due to few teams being in action. The NBA has tried to make rules to help with late scratches and such. I’m all for having to announce lineups a half hour before tip because DraftKings NBA still has late swap.
Out: Paul George (shoulders), Zion Williamson (knee), Kyle Kuzma (foot), Darius Miller (achilles), DeMarcus Cousins (knee), Talen Horton-Tucker (foot).
Questionable: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin), Alex Caruso (bruised pelvis), Rodney McGruder (ankle), Patrick McCaw (knee), Amir Coffey (ankle), Rajon Rondo(knee).
