Week 7 of the 2019 NFL season is in the books, and as it stands right now, the Cincinnati Bengals would be the first team walking to the podium in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The 2019 Week 7 NFL slate wrapped up inside Metlife Stadium on Monday night, as Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots absolutely trounced the New York Jets in front of the home crowd. With the win, the Patriots are still the only undefeated team in the AFC, while the San Francisco 49ers hold that crown in the NFC.

Here is our latest 2020 NFL mock draft based on the draft order by tankathon.com.

Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow. 1. player. 56. . Quarterback

The Cincinnati Bengals have opened up head coach Zac Taylor’s first season at the helm by losing seven straight, and currently find themselves holding the No.1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft as we enter Week 8. Cincinnati has a tremendous amount of issues on both sides of the ball, and it may be time for them to make a change at the quarterback position.

In the 2020 NFL Draft class, there are a couple of signal-callers who could hear their name called at No. 1, but one quarterback in particular is rocketing up draft boards. It has been a special season for LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, as he has his Tigers sitting at No. 2 in the country, behind only Tua Tagovailoa and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

If the draft took place tomorrow, there is good reason to believe that the Bengals would use their first round pick on Burrows, who has the perfect skill set to be incredibly successful at the NFL level. The Bengals need to move on from Andy Dalton, and whether it is Tua or Joe at No. 1, this is the position group they must target next April.

2. player. 59. . Quarterback. Miami Dolphins. Tua Tagovailoa

The biggest question going into the 2020 NFL Draft will be which quarterback is going to go at No. 1 overall. In many mock drafts, that distinction falls on Tua Tagovailoa, a tremendously gifted signal-caller from the Alabama Crimson Tide, and rightfully so.

Since taking over for Jalen Hurts at Alabama, Tua has dominated the college football landscape, and currently has his team sitting at No. 1 in the country. Unfortunately for him, he once again suffered a high ankle sprain this past weekend, and will now have to have surgery on an ankle opposite the one he had surgery on in the past.

One thing that could Tagovailoa in the draft process is the fact that he throws left-handed, and there is not a single lefty starting quarterback in the NFL right now. Still, this is a special talent, and whether it is at No. 1 to Cincinnati, or here at No. 2 to Miami,  this is a kid who will not be sitting in the green room for long.
