Rizzla discusses the Emmanuel Sanders trade to the San Francisco 49ers and examines the fantasy implications of the move.

The San Francisco 49ers made the second big move of the week on the offensive side of the ball by trading a third and fourth round pick for Emmanuel Sanders and a fifth round pick. Mike Klis was the one to break the news.

This is quite a coup for a San Francisco 49ers team lacking anything that resembled a number one receiver. This deal looks even better when take into account that the New England Patriots surrendered a second round pick for a less talented receiver in Mohamed Sanu just hours earlier.

While Sanders is not an ideal number one wideout, he does represent a significant upgrade on what we have seen from Dante Pettis, Marquise Goodwin, and Deebo Samuel this season. This move could also be a sign that Jalen Hurd and Trent Taylor have not inspired confidence with their recoveries.

The Denver Broncos lose their most battle tested wide receiver, but already had Courtland Sutton emerging as their true number one wideout.

DaeSean Hamilton who impressed with Emmanuel Sanders injured last season is expected to step up as the Broncos number two target and wideout. Tim Patrick who showed signs of being a capable number three wide receiver last season is expected back from injury in Week 11.
