DraftKings NBA Picks October 26: Out on the Towns

We have ten games on our Saturday, but only nine are in the main DraftKings NBA tournaments. The Bucks and Heat tip about two hours earlier than everyone else, so they are in their own showdown slate. The other nine have some big stars going. Some struggled in the opener. Some did not. Who will come through here?

A new season will mean a little bit of a different format. It will still provide most of what you are used to, but I will go more into why I am thinking about one pick over the other. That way if you don’t agree with my particular analysis, you more easily know what to chase instead.

The injury report is a lot more crowded tonight with a few game time decisions.

Out: Paul George(shoulders), Zion Williamson(knee), Blake Griffin(knee), Marvin Bagley(thumb), Enes Kanter(knee), Bojan Bogdanovic(ankle), Crabbe(knee), Reggie Bullock(back), Chandler Parsons(knee), Cameron Johnson(calf), Gerald Green(foot), Nene(hip), Ty Jerome(ankle), Tacko Fall(concussion), Michael Frazier(ankle), Darius Miller(achilles), Dylan Windler(leg), Ante Zizic(foot), Victor Oladipo(knee), Sekou Doumbouya(concussion), Ian Mahinmi(achilles), John Wall(achilles), Jordan McRae(finger), Deandre Ayton(suspension).

Questionable: Joel Embiid(ankle), Jeremy Lamb(hip), Reggie Jackson(back), Troy Brown(calf), Isaiah Thomas(thumb), Rondae Hollis-Jefferson(groin), Kadeem Allen(knee), Harry Giles(knee), Mike Scott(ankle), Romeo Langford(knee), Patrick McCaw(knee), John Henson(ankle), C.J. Miles(foot), Dante Exum(knee), Chandler Hutchison(hamstring), Louis King(calf), Rodney McGruder(ankle), Amir Coffey(ankle).

I was back in the money last night with four out of five lineups. It’s not coincidence that I had Towns in all four of those. Dwayne Bacon hurt the best line, but I still had Coby White, SGA, Hart, and Siakam in that line so I ended up with a strong 326.25 DraftKings points. My low lineup that included Towns still had 295, so it snuck above the cash line of 293.75.

cubsfan333 took it down with 378.75, just 0.75 points ahead of second place. He had Luka, Towns, Jokic, and LaVine! He nailed value with Frank the Tank, Bertans, Shabazz, and Richaun Holmes.
