Fantasy football picks: Week 8 FanDuel GPP breakdown

Buffalo Bills – This is a great lower owned stack, that I fell nobody will be using. The Bills as an offense are not that great, they have very limited weapons, and no true workhorse running back. Still, this does not mean we can’t play the pieces that are in good spots from them.

Josh Allen, John Brown

Detroit Lions – This is the perfect spot for a game stack. You could play as many as four players from this game, as it should consist of little, to no defense, and plenty of scoring. I usually like to roll three players in my game stacks, but that is just because I like to play a couple two man stacks also, and that prevents me from overexposing myself on just one game. We have already talked about two of the players from Detroit that I will be using in this stack, and I would like to mention a few players from the Giants that have some good upside. In these situations, we can pair some of these lower-owned plays, with some more popular cash game type plays.

Matt Stafford, Kenny Golladay, Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram

New Orleans Saints – Arizona plays at the fastest pace in the NFL. While pace is not quite as vital compared to a sport like basketball, it still is pretty important in regards to high scoring games. The Cardinals have a pretty bad defense as well, which is the key to this stack in GPP’s. We have some injuries to monitor, but if these players do indeed play, they have some great upside, as mentioned earlier in the article.

Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas

LA Rams – This is more of a cash game stack, but I wanted to mention it anyway. The Rams should roll through this Bengal defense, with relative ease. As mentioned this will be a slightly more popular stack, but for the sake of argument, yes you can use this in your GPP’s. I will occasionally use popular stacks in my tournaments, if they have the upside I am looking for.

Jared Goff, Cooper Kupp, Todd Gurley
