Saquon Barkley – FanDuel $8600 DraftKings $8900

Saquonda forever was a tiny bit of a letdown last week and got a bailout touchdown for the chalk but you just cannot fade this guy. I touched on it above but the Lions have shockingly been getting torn up by running backs the last 4 weeks or so which I would not have expected with Patricia at the helm. I thought for a bit the Lions might be for real but if their defense doesn’t show up, they’re cooked. I’m really hoping Saquon goes nuts here because he’s easy to fit on FanDuel but you have to make some sacrifices to get him on DraftKings.

Ty Johnson – FanDuel $5200 DraftKings $4900

Here is your cheap chalk of the week. He looked really good relieving the sadly injured Kerryon last week catching a couple of balls and doing nicely on the ground. The only slightly sketchy thing in this situation is going to be whether the other running back, JD McKissick takes some run away. I think McKissick is primarily a pass catcher though and it seems as though the Lions are looking for Johnson to fill the primary back role.

Chris Carson – FanDuel $8000 DraftKings $7000

I will say it every single week – PLAY RUNNING BACKS AGAINST THE FALCONS. Really it seems you can play literally anyone against the Falcons so if you don’t happen to go with Carson here, I’d probably look at Lockett or Metcalf. I heard a crazy stat just today on a podcast actually that pointed out Metcalf has quite a few touchdowns but shockingly has no red zone touchdowns despite getting 10 targets there. This is the running backs section though…play Carson over those guys. Let’s look at some other options too!
