NFL DFS Week 8: Fantasy football cash game breakdown
NFL DFS Week 8: Fantasy football cash game breakdown
Hunter Henry – FanDuel $6700 DraftKings $4900
I (strongly) prefer this play on DraftKings this week due to the steep discount. Hunter Henry is currently the 6th most expensive tight end over there but on FanDuel he’s coming in as the 3rd most expensive. I wanted to play him last week and had him locked up until Sunday morning when I switched to Engram. I should have stuck to my guns and kept Henry in and hopefully this week I can do that on DraftKings at least. I think on FanDuel I’m probably looking elsewhere. We do know though that this Bears defense is beatable so I’m not scared of the play and we also know Felipe Rios loves his tight ends (and his 1490432 children).
Darren Fells – FanDuel $5100 DraftKings $3400
One of just a few “pay down” options, Fells is pretty up and down. The positives here are his matchup and his price. Paying this far down allows you to pay up for his quarterback for a low owned stack in a tournament or be your cash differentiator. If he gets in the end zone, you’re money. Tight end has been a bit of a crapshoot so far this year in NFL DFS and fantasy football, so it’s tough to really be confident in any plays sadly. New Orleans gets Arizona this week but are without Jared Cook so we can’t just flow chart and move on.
Austin Hooper – FanDuel $6600 DraftKings $5500
Again, depends entirely on whether Matt Ryan is healthy and playing. If it’s Matt Schaub, forget it. Honestly shocked to find out he was still in the NFL. Hooper continues to be the best tight end week in and week out which is pretty strange to say and his matchup this week is actually really solid. Tight ends and receivers have put up some decent numbers against the Seahawks so if Ryan is healthy, I can’t blame you for looking this way.
