DraftKings NBA Picks October 28: Westbrook’s revenge

We have a big night in the NBA with 11 games for our DraftKings NBA tournaments. There are a lot of stars, but the value is starting to evaporate as the DraftKings pricing algorithm catches up to the hot starts. We have to do a little more digging, but that’s what I’m here for.

A new season will mean a little bit of a different format. It will still provide most of what you are used to, but I will go more into why I am thinking about one pick over the other. That way if you don’t agree with my particular analysis, you more easily know what to chase instead.

The injury report is extensive tonight as some lingering preseason maladies crash into the early season injuries.

Out: Paul George(shoulders), Zion Williamson(knee), Blake Griffin(hamstring), Marvin Bagley(thumb), Zach Collins(shoulder),  Kevon Looney(hamstring), Willie Cauley-Stein(foot), Nicolas Batum(finger), Dennis Smith(personal), Allen Crabbe(knee), Reggie Bullock(back),  Chandler Parsons(knees), John Henson(hamstring), Nene(hip), Gerald Green(foot), Ty Jerome(ankle),  Amir Coffey(ankle),  Dylan Windler(leg), Ante Zizic(foot), Bol Bol(foot), Darius Miller(achilles), Klay Thompson(knee), Alen Smailagic(knee), Sekou Doumbouya(concussion), Victor Oladipo(knee), Pau Gasol(foot), Jusuf Nurkic(leg), Dante Exum(knee),

Questionable: Joel Embiid(ankle), Jrue Holiday(knee), Jeremy Lamb(hip), Reggie Jackson(back), Bruno Fernando(ankle), Kadeem Allen(knee), Harry Giles(knee), Alec Burks(ankle), Patrick McCaw(knee), Chandler Hutchison(hamstring), Rodney McGruder(ankle), Michael Frazier(ankle), Andre Roberson(knee), Louis King(calf),

There are several guys that are probable, but I wont list them here. It looks as though Harry Giles could make his return tonight. Embiid is once again a game time decision. Reggie Jackson is reportedly closer to doubtful.

I came up empty in NBA last night thanks to failed value from Dragic, Graham, and Jaren Jackson. A horrible night from Hassan and Danny Green didn’t help either.

rwalkersc only needed 354.75 to take this one down. He gambled on rookie Ja Morant, the struggling McCollum, a struggling LeVert, and Dillon Brooks and it paid off big. The Dallas connection of Doncic, Porzingis, and Kleber put him over the top.
