2020 NFL mock draft: Buccaneers select Jake Fromm in first round

The New York Jets are an absolute dumpster fire right now, and you have to look no further than they handling of Kelechi Osemele to see why. A former Pro Bowl player with the Oakland Raiders, Osemele needed surgery on his shoulder, and instead of sending him to get it right, the Jets tried to force him to practice, and then fined him when he did not show up.
Well, eventually Osemele got the surgery on his own, and because of it, the team decided to release him. While there is certainly trouble in Jets land, the fact is, they are going to start breaking this thing down, as was evident by the team’s trading of Leonard Williams on Monday. They have to get better on both sides of the ball, and it starts up front on offense.
Tristan Wirfs would be a great addition to this Jets roster because their offensive line is a joke, and they are eventually going to damage prized quarterback Sam Darnold for the long-term. In Week 8, Darnold was sacked eight times by the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that kind of stat will lead to him being the next David Carr, and not the next Joe Namath.
The New York Giants actually were buyers at the trade deadline, as they swung a deal with the New York Jets to pick up defensive lineman Leonard Williams. The Giants defense has been atrocious this season, especially in the secondary, but they have looked better up front in recent weeks, and Williams should help.
On the other side of the ball, rookie quarterback Daniel Jones has shown flashes since taking over for Eli Manning, but he needs more weapons in the passing game. One player who should be picked in the top-10 next April is Jerry Jeudy from Alabama, who many consider the best overall wide receiver in the draft class.
Jeudy would be an excellent addition to this offense, giving Jones the kind of WR1 that he is going to need if he is going to develop into the kind of passer the Giants are hoping he can become. They already have an elite running back in Saquon Barkley, and after adding to the offensive line this offseason, Jeudy makes sense here at No. 6 overall.
