DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

I’m actually okay with a Giannis fade here. He wasn’t that good against Boston last year and he’s coming off a dud against Cleveland. With so many other great options out there, I see a fade being advantageous. The flipside of that is also true. Giannis will likely be at single digit ownership, so using him can set you apart if he goes bonkers again.

Kevin Love‘s low mark on the season was 39 against the Bucks on Monday. This Chicago front hasn’t really figured out this defense thing yet, so another Cleveland frontcourt stack could be in order. Love’s upside is still pretty good. He is finally healthy has showed his upside dropping 55.75 on the Pacers over the weekend.

Honorable Mention:

Brooklyn doesn’t play DeAndre Jordan enough to fix their defensive woes up front. With RHJ gone, PF is a sore spot at well. Cleveland dominated this Indy frontcourt, but at least Domantas Sabonis rebounded with a solid game against Detroit. His price point isn’t enough to scare me off yet, but the chances of 6x value aren’t that good anymore.

The Warriors have integrated Draymond into the offense with pretty good success. He posted a triple double on Monday and points were his second highest total. That’s a rarity for the defensive minded Green. The fact is the Warriors desperately need his rebounding and scoring. Green is one of the best triple double threats in the league right now.

Dark Horses:

For the first time since Ayton’s suspension, I’m off of Frank the Tank. This is a terrible matchup for him against the Warriors. Luckily for us, Rui Hachimura is about the same price taking on Houston. Hachimura is a good enough athlete to run with Houston. We should see another really strong game from the rookie from Gonzaga.

Larry Nance has done well backing up both Love and Thompson. Both are rather fragile in their old age, but Nance’s upside is capped unless one of them goes down. He just doesn’t get enough minutes otherwise.

Perhaps the first game was too soon to expect Davis Bertans to break out. He seems to have done so now. Bertans put up 31.5 DraftKings points on a perfect night from the field against his former team on Saturday. He should have no issues keeping that going in a track meet with Houston.
