6. Sean Taylor

The “Meast” himself (as dubbed by several of his former Washington Redskins’ teammates) lurks the halls of the asylum you find yourself trapped in, and with one single hit, he can break almost every bone in your mortal body.

Another favorite inmate of the warden, Sean Taylor was one of the most terrifying players to ever hit a gridiron thanks to his ability to decimate almost any opposing offensive player with a single blow. One of the hardest hitters in college football history, Taylor would shake fear into almost anyone that ran his direction.

The hard-hitting reputation he built up in his time with the Miami Hurricanes led to him being a first round pick in the 2004 draft, where he continued to grow the legend of his hard-hitting ways. Extreme physicality paired with track team caliber speed led to Taylor’s success as a Hurricane, and then at the professional level.

Taylor didn’t just strike fear into enemies with his prowess in hard hits though, he also was one of the most skilled free safeties in the game. He was a BCS national champion with the 2001 Miami Hurricanes and was the Big East Defensive Player of the Year in 2003, as well as a unanimous All-American that year.

You couldn’t run away from Taylor. You had to hide, or give in and face the boom of one of college football’s most terrifying players. That’s your situation in our asylum journey, and he’s not the worst you’ll face.

Buckle up.
