DraftKings NBA Picks October 31: Kawhi going for 5-0

Best Bets:

PG thins out a lot with Young out. I don’t really trust Lonzo Ball with Holiday back unless Holiday is on a minutes limit. There is no word on that yet, so I’m guessing that Ball will be good, but not $6,900 good.

The Miami guard situation isn’t ideal and neither is Denver, but Jamal Murray always gets his minutes. The concerning this is that Murray hasn’t been much of a facilitator lately. He has just four assists in the last two games combined. He is still scoring at least, so Murray is at least worth a look against New Orleans.

Honorable Mention:

Dejounte Murray being on a minutes limit has tempered his price, but he has hit at least 5x value in all three games so far. The Spurs are going to use Murray tonight and rest him tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean he’ll play more than 25 minutes. His minutes will still be around there so his upside is capped. I still think the floor is plenty high enough though.

Goran Dragic is dominating on the second unit for the Heat. The return of Butler only made the second unit stronger. I’d take Dragic over Nunn right now, but this whole situation still makes me nervous.

Dark Horse:

Deandre Bembry could be a huge value tonight. With Young out and Evan Turner doubtful, Bembry should start at one of the guard positions. The Hawks are particularly thin at the point, so I would expect Bembry to start there and rack up the assists if nothing else.

Bryn Forbes continues to be big off the bench for the Spurs, particularly with Murray still on a minutes restriction. Forbes has played no fewer than 29 minutes and has at least 23 DraftKings points in every game. Forbes will be chalk tomorrow, but you can still get solid value at lower ownership tonight.
