Kelly Holcomb Division

28. Mitch Trubisky (LW: 29)

The Bears are gaining nothing on the field by switching to Chase Daniel. So why potentially switch to him? Because head coach Matt Nagy has to think about the other 52 players on the roster. If he rides this season into the ground with Trubisky, he takes a serious risk of losing the locker room. Once that happens, he has no future in Chicago. Trubisky has been downright awful this year. It might be time.

27. Daniel Jones (LW: 30)

Jones burst onto the scene in his four-touchdown performance in a win over Tampa Bay. Since then? There has been flashes of what could be and a metric ton of turnovers. Also, throw the ball more than five yards downfield occasionally.

26. Ryan Fitzpatrick (LW: 27)

Fitzpatrick is the stopgap in Miami, but now he’s a stopgap with a win! Fitzpatrick did enough on Sunday to beat the Jets, totaling 288 yards and three touchdowns.

25. Jameis Winston (LW: 24)

Winston made a litany of risky throws but avoided the big interception. Instead, it was replaced by a fourth-quarter fumble that resulted in seven points. He makes plays and churns out yardage, but the mistakes are overwhelming.

24. Sam Darnold (LW: 23)

Darnold just lost to the Dolphins. He threw his eighth interception in three games.

23. Baker Mayfield (LW: 22)

Mayfield has seven touchdowns and 12 interceptions this year. Enough said.

22. Matt Moore (LW: 25)

Moore was coaching a high school team this summer before the Chiefs lured him out of retirement. In three games with Kansas City, Moore is 2-1 and has thrown for 659 yards and four touchdowns without a turnover. He’s even thrown the occasional deep ball. Great job by him.
