Steve Grogan Division

16. Kyler Murray (LW: 17)

Look beyond the box score with Murray. He’s been inconsistent statistically, but the talent is there. Once the supporting cast improves, he stands to be one of the more difficult quarterbacks in football to defend. For now, he has a ton of upside.

15. Carson Wentz (LW: 12)

Wentz has struggled for much of the season. The Eagles’ receivers have been either hurt or unproductive for large stretches, but that doesn’t exonerate the veteran Wentz from lapses. Averaging 6.8 yards per attempt with a 62 percent completion rate won’t do. Conversely, he’s thrown for 15 touchdowns and only four interceptions, giving him an uneven campaign.

14. Derek Carr (LW: 15)

Carr played very well against Detroit, leading the Raiders to a thrilling 31-24 win. Carr threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns, giving him 13 on the season. He’s also completing 71.4 percent of his throws for 7.9 YPA. Not bad.

13. Jimmy Garoppolo (LW: 14)

Garoppolo had his best game of the season on Thursday night against the Cardinals. The former Patriots’ understudy threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns with no turnovers. On the campaign, Garoppolo has 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions, a lackluster ratio but an improving one.
