Bart Starr Division

12. Jared Goff (LW: 10)

Goff has slipped some in the rankings, and if he doesn’t improve drastically after the bye week, that trend will continue. Eleven touchdowns against seven picks while completing 61 percent of throws is terrible in a Sean McVay offense. Additionally, 7.5 YPA is average. Not doing nearly enough.

11. Philip Rivers (LW: 11)

If the season ended today, Rivers would own the passing title with 2,609. So why isn’t he higher? Too many turnovers, too many missed shots. Seven interceptions and 7.8 YPA is solid, but not great. In fairness, he hasn’t had much help with a bad offensive line and no rushing attack.

10. Kirk Cousins (LW: 6)

Cousins was on fire for a month, garnering a bit of MVP buzz. Then Kansas City locked him up, with Cousins completing 19-of-38 for 220 yards. The Vikings lost to Matt Moore, and now Cousins heads to Dallas for a marquee date with the Cowboys.

9. Matt Ryan (LW: NA)

Ryan is being cast aside because he plays on a one-win team, but he’s anything but the problem. The former MVP has been terrific when healthy, playing behind a bad line, with bad coaching and a spotty running game. The eight interceptions are high, but 15 touchdowns and 2,170 passing yards in seven games are legit.
