Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s daily fantasy NBA lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Memphis at Charlotte, Philadelphia at Orlando
7:30 p.m. ET: LA Clippers at Houston, Washington at Boston
8 p.m. ET: San Antonio at Minnesota
10 p.m. ET: Toronto at Portland
10:30 p.m. ET: Golden State at LA Lakers

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Joel Embiid (at ORL – $9,100 on DK; $10,800 on FD): Orlando’s defense has been stout and Embiid can be inconsistent with his big games, but I like him to step up against Vucevic. He’s below names you wouldn’t typically find him below. Take advantage of the lower salary because he’ll play above his value in a big way. If nothing else, you’ll get at least value out of him.

Pascal Siakam (at POR – $8,700 on DK; $9,700 on FD): Much like Embiid, Siakam is going to at least get you value. But given the matchup and circumstances, you should definitely expect more in this one. I love Siakam on Wednesday and expect him to be a top 5 scorer at worst with a good chance he cracks the top 3. A lot of things working in his favor.

Kemba Walker (vs WAS – $8,600 on DK; $9,000 on FD): Kemba is on fire right now and he gets to go up against the Washington defense. His salary has actually gone down from the last game on DK, which is something you should definitely take advantage of. Kemba is scoring at will right now while also chipping in with assists and rebounds.

Andrew Wiggins (vs SA – $7,900 on DK; $8,600 on FD): Wiggins finally looks like he’s becoming the guy we expected him to be as the top pick. The Spurs can be a tough matchup, but this Spurs team isn’t your dad’s Spurs team. Wiggins is contributing in all categories and remains at a great price.

Lou Williams (at HOU – $7,200 on DK; $7,000 on FD): The focus will be on the stars in this game, but Lou Williams might outperform them all in terms of value. The Houston defense isn’t good, despite a decent stretch against offensively challenged teams. The Clippers have plenty of offense and Williams is a walking bucket. Look for him to explode with a big scoring game.
