Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay a way from on November in NBA Daily Fantasy Sports on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s daily fantasy NBA lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

8 p.m. ET: LA Clippers at New Orleans, Chicago at Milwaukee, Dallas at New York
9 p.m. ET: Atlanta at Phoenix
10:30 p.m. ET: Brooklyn at Denver

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Trae Young (at PHO – $9,600 on DK; $10,100 on FD): Trae continues to be on a roll and there is no reason to doubt him. The Suns are better this season but nothing is really stopping Trae at this point. The loss of Huerter will put slightly more pressure on him to perform. He should be a top 3 scorer on the night.

Lou Williams (at NO – $7,700 on DK; $7,000 on FD): Given the state of the Pelicans defense, you have to grab someone on the Clippers. Kawhi might rest and PG might be on a minutes restriction. That leaves Lou as the top scoring option, though there are some good depth choices below him on the Clippers who do other things besides score.

Eric Bledsoe (vs CHI – $7,300 on DK; $7,400 on FD): We’re cheating here, but it’s my column and I’ll do what I want. Bledsoe can be inconsistent but with Middleton out of the lineup, he becomes the definitive number two option in Milwaukee. It’s a good matchup as well as the Bulls are unlikely to stop the Bucks offense. Bledsoe has also found his rhythm in recent games, which certainly helps.

Kristaps Porzingis (at NY – $6,900 on DK; $8,400 on FD): Porzingis returns to the the Garden and even though he’s struggled with consistency, never underestimate the power of a revenge game. And this is a big revenge game for Kristaps given how things ended with him and the Knicks. I love him on Thursday and expect him and Luka to go off. You can also look towards Luka, who may end up being the top scorer on the night given the opponent.

Ricky Rubio (vs ATL – $7,400 on DK; $7,700 on FD): People will look towards Devin Booker, but Rubio offers better value at the price. He’s thrived next to Booker and in this Suns offense and this should be a high scoring affair between two teams who play with some pace. A double-double is a strong possibility.
