NFL DraftKings: Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson $7,700

Is this too much to pay for a quarterback? Possibly. But Lamar Jackson is more than just a quarterback. Any given week, there is a legitimate chance that he will put up RB1 numbers alongside his passing production. This game has a healthy over/under of 50 points with only a 4 point spread, which implies a high scoring and competitive affair taking place in Houston on Sunday afternoon. Jackson couples as both the safest play, and the highest upside player at his position.

Tom Brady $6,400

Last time I checked, the Eagles are still rolling out a secondary consisting of mostly off-duty cops and retired accountants. All joking aside, the Philadelphia defense has effective at stifling opposing rushing attacks, but sports one of the leakiest pass defenses in the league. Brady has attempted at least 40 passes in 5 out of the last 7 games, and is due some positive touchdown regression after only totaling 4 scores in the last 4 games.
