Rank: 11 | Opponent: Missouri Tigers | Time: Saturday, Nov. 16, Noon ET

Just in terms of the latest College Football rankings, you could make the argument that no team in the country has a better pair of losses than the Florida Gators. They first lost on Nov. 12 to the now-No. 1 ranked LSU Tigers then lost three weeks later in a rivalry game against the Georgia Bulldogs, a team that’s now the No. 4-ranked club in the nation. Meanwhile, they have a win over Auburn on their docket as well as rebounding last week to beat Vanderbilt 56-0.

On Saturday, the Gators hit the road to face the Missouri Tigers, a team that has been sliding as of late. The Tigers ride a three-game losing streak coming into Week 12, having dropped games at Vanderbilt, at Kentucky and at Georgia. For a team that had potential to create some chaos in the SEC this season, they have not been doing so as of late.

However, not only does Missouri come back home for this game on Saturday but they also get starting quarterback and Clemson transfer Kelly Bryant back for the game against Florida. Bryant didn’t miss much time but was out against Georgia and for half of the loss to Kentucky. And with the way the Tigers’ offense has dropped off over their losing streak, a healthy Bryant could be the spark they need.

Make no mistake, Florida is the better football team in this matchup. Having said that, the Gators offense continues to be up and down and not match the caliber of their defense. If Bryant can return to Mizzou and shock the Florida defense early on, it might be enough to keep the Gators on their heels and unable to recover given the limitations of Kyle Trask and the offense.
