DraftKings showdown: Sunday night football Rams vs Bears Nov. 17
DraftKings Showdown-Low-End Sleepers
Greg Zuerlein K LAR-$3,800
With the way that I think this game plays out, it would be beneficial for the Rams kicker either way. The Rams happen to have one of the best in the league in Greg Zuerlein.
If the Rams blow out the Bears, they will obviously score a lot of points, giving Legatron at least a good bit of points from extra points. If there is a field goal or two as part of the blow out, then great. If it’s a close defensive battle, then a field goal may win the game. The Bears defense may allow the Rams to get into field goal range, then hold up in the red zone to hold them to three points. Zuerlein should be a solid option in this game.
Brandon Braunecker TE CHI-$800
With Trey Burton and Adam Shaheen both out due to injury for this week 11 matchup, that leaves Brandon Braunecker as the starting tight end for the Chicago Bears. Braunecker did score a touchdown a week ago on just his third catch of the season.
The matchup isn’t great and Braunecker is very inexperienced, but he’s about all they got right now. There is a reason he is just $800, but if you spend big at the top of your lineup and need a cheap punt play with upside, you could do worse than a guy that scored a touchdown last game and should be starting.
Ryan Nall RB CHI-$200
This would really only be in play if David Montgomery is ruled out or they expressly say that he will be limited. While Tarik Cohen would be the next man up, the Bears have been very reluctant to use him as a true running back.
If Montgomery is out, it would not surprise me to see Chicago use Ryan Nall as a between the tackles runner. Head coach Matt Nagy stated that they are comfortable with Nall should that situation arise, and at $200 he would be a complete steal if he actually got a reasonable share of the touches on Sunday Night.
