When is the 2019 Heisman Trophy presentation?

Chances are, the 2019 Heisman Trophy race has already been decided. There have unquestionably been some phenomenal performances throughout the college football season from the likes of Jalen Hurts, Justin Fields, Jonathan Taylor and even Tua Tagovailoa prior to his devastating injury. But it’s felt for some time like the Heisman presentation will be the coronation of Joe Burrow.
The LSU Tigers second-year starting quarterback made a tremendous leap in his second season under Ed Orgeron and new offensive mind Joe Brady. Through 10 games, Burrow has thrown for 3,687 yards, 38 touchdowns and only six interceptions, guiding the Tigers to the No. 1 ranking in college football. It’s been a Heisman-worthy performance through and through.
Perhaps the better question isn’t who will win the award by rather who will join Burrow in New York City as a finalist for the Heisman Trophy ceremony.
Numerous other candidates have a claim to earn a bid to New York City as a finalist. Hurts and Fields have been finding the end zone at will this season, Taylor has been running wild and guys like Chuba Hubbard and J.K. Dobbins have been making their mark as well. It’ll be a tight race to see who joins Burrow for the presentation.
The question at hand, however, is when all of this will go down, namely when the 2019 Heisman Trophy presentation will take place. The good news for you is that we have answers.
Burrow’s likely award-winning night at the 2019 Heisman presentation will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 from New York City. The ceremony will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN for all to see. And if you’re a college football fan, you have to get your eyes on the screen then to watch the most prestigious individual award in the sport handed out for the 85th time.
