As the NFL is set to have its biggest week of the year, these five teams find themselves in must-win situations in Week 12.

Week 11 was a disappointment in terms of quality games, but that won’t be the case for Week 12. There are big matchups all over the schedule, and that means a lot of teams are in must-win situations.

With Thanksgiving coming up, playoff contenders are running out of opportunities to pick up victories that they need to make the postseason. Let’s take a look at five squads most in need of a victory this Sunday, beginning with the Cleveland Browns.

5. Cleveland Browns

The Browns have been frequent occupants of this space, and they came through last week with a resounding Thursday night win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cleveland’s defense absolutely dominated the game, bringing the Browns to 4-6 and within shouting distance of the playoff picture.

Next up for Cleveland is a game against the 2-8 Dolphins, who have played sharper football of late but were just blown out by the Buffalo Bills over the weekend. Josh Allen torched the Dolphins for four touchdowns, sending Miami back to reality a bit.

There is still a possibility a 9-7 team can make the playoffs in the AFC, so Cleveland has at most a one loss margin of error. The Browns can’t afford to squander it at home against one of the worst teams in football.
