Uga and Reveille deliver college football’s wholesome content of the year

It was all about the dogs when the Georgia Bulldogs hosted the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday. Uga and Reveille stole the show as the best dogs on the field.

Let’s be real for one second. We all know that dogs are awesome. They’re man’s best friend for a reason. Not only that, but they make incredible college football mascots. Do you want proof? Just look at the amazing scene at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. Uga and Reveille got to hang out and it was all that we could have ever hoped for.

Sure, Reveille gets to spending time with Bully in the SEC West and Uga has the pleasure of enjoying Smokey’s company in the SEC East. But the Georgia Bulldogs don’t play the Texas A&M Aggies in football often enough. In fact, this was the first time that the Dawgs have played the Aggies since Texas A&M joined the SEC back in 2012. Why did it have to take so long?

It was the greatest of college football mascot dog dates of all time. Uga was handsome and Reveille was her beautiful self. They were just two dogs without a care in the world, enjoying each other’s company on a rainy Saturday afternoon Between the Hedges.

Reveille had her dog raincoat on and didn’t seem to mind how the humidity was affecting her exquisite coat. Uga had his Dawg House he could go chill in when the weather isn’t great. He did his best, but he probably did get a little intimidated by having this girl dog in his house. Uga is a hopeless romantic, but more importantly, a damn good Dawg.

Reveille’s Aggies may not have gotten the win, but those photo ops with Uga in his house were probably the best thing to happen from this football game. It was an ugly game in the rain that the Dawgs won, but in truth, both dogs won and that’s all that matters. This is the wholesome dog content that the world deserves every single day for the end of time. We’re so glad it happened.
