The college football season is nearing an end and multiple head coaches have already been fired. Here are 10 coaches that deserve to join them.

It’s hot seat season in college football.

Like Jack Torrance walking around the Overlook Hotel for Danny boy, college football programs will soon be cutting ties with their head coaches that are under-performing. Some programs have already swung the proverbial ax.

We have seen the likes of Willie Taggart, Chris Ash, Chad Morris, Bob Davie and Tony Sanchez already receive their walking orders or in some cases, a “mutual parting of ways.”

Regardless of which terminology a program wants to use, there will be several more openings in college football soon. Some should come as quick as this week when the regular season wraps up for most programs ahead of conference championship week.

It’s all about getting a jump on the coaching search and programs will typically fire a coach and an interim will coach the bowl game, if they qualified.

It might not just be a few firings either. There are several programs that could look to clean house at season’s end. Here are 10 coaches that could soon be finding themselves out of a job, maybe even this week.
