Star Wars Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on Dec. 20. Are you looking to binge the first 8 movies of the Skywalker saga before heading to the theater? Are they on Netflix?

Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker comes to theaters Dec. 20. Written by J.J. Abrams and Chris Terrio, and directed by J.J. Abrams, this movie is the end of decades of masterful storytelling. You can’t just go see the 9th installment without having seen anything beforehand. But where on earth are you supposed to watch 8 movies?

If you haven’t done it already, binging all the Star Wars movies is a must, especially before a new release. If you’re a hardcore fan, you’ve likely already seen the previous 8. Maybe you’re just looking for a refresher course or the good time that comes with marathoning the movies. But where can you watch them? It’s incredibly hard to get your hands on the DVD copies of the first two trilogies.

Thankfully, streaming services have our backs when it comes to this sort of thing. Unfortunately, Netflix falls short here. On Netflix, you can find Episode 8, The Last Jedi. They also have Solo: A Star Wars Story.

For the rest of the films, you’re going to have to head over to new streaming service Disney Plus, where they have the other 7 films, as well as Rogue One. However, The Last Jedi will be joining Disney Plus on Dec. 26, 2019. Solo: A Star Wars Story will also be joining Disney Plus eventually, but not until later in 2020. On Disney Plus, you can also find the new series, The Mandalorian.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a one-stop for all things Star Wars at the moment. However, there are plans to eventually move all the Star Wars movies over to Disney Plus, and then you can have the marathon of your Star Wars dreams.
