Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay a way from on December 3 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Detroit at Cleveland, Orlando at Washington
7:30 p.m. ET: Dallas at New Orleans, Miami at Toronto
8:30 p.m. ET: Houston at San Antonio
9 p.m. ET: LA Lakers at Denver
10 p.m. ET: Portland at LA Clippers

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Jonathan Isaac (at WAS – $6,900 on DK; $8,000 on FD): Isaac is inconsistent but with Vucevic out of the lineup there is more opportunities for him to succeed. And against the Wizards defense, he should easily be able to have a big scoring game while also collecting plenty of rebounds. Expect a double double with a high scoring output.

Luka Doncic (at NO – $11,300 on DK; $12,400 on FD): This will be an easy night for Luka against a Pelicans defense that has shown no resistance all season. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t end up with a triple double with a high scoring output. It’s heavy at the top on Tuesday as the lead guys all have great matchups and circumstances.

Lou Williams (vs POR – $6,400 on DK; $7,200 on FD): I’m not sold on the Blazers just because they beat some bad teams. Melo still isn’t the answer, at least not on defense. Look for Lou Williams to take advantage of their bench unit and mismatches with his scoring off the bench. Kawhi is also a strong high salary option given the matchup.

LeBron James (at DEN- $10,200 on DK; $11,400 on FD): LeBron coming off a loss against a top team? Yeah, I know how this game is going to go. LeBron has been locked in this season and while the Nuggets present a tough defensive matchup, there’s not much any team can do against LeBron when he decides to takeover. And he will takeover this game following the loss to the Mavericks.

James Harden (at SA – $12,500 on DK; $12,000 on FD): Will James Harden score 60 points in 3 quarters again? Probably not. But maybe so? The Spurs are awful and Harden can’t be stopped right now. It’s a high price but you’re getting a guaranteed big game unless something goes wrong.
