Drew Bledsoe Division

12. Josh Allen (LW: 17)

Allen has been great over the past five games, throwing 11 touchdowns against one interception. For the season, the youngster is averaging 7.1 yards per attempt and ranks 17th in yardage (2,591). Still, combining his rushing ability, the deep ball and his Buffalo Bills sitting at 9-3, and Allen deserves to be credited.

11. Jimmy Garoppolo (LW: 11)

Garoppolo could be what ends up either putting the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, or keeping them from it. Against the Baltimore Ravens, Garoppolo was tentative far too often against the blitz, resulting in a forced fumble and missed opportunities. He’s a good player, but he must be better.

10. Tom Brady (LW: 10)

Brady is the epitome of the stats telling lies. The 42-year-old is fifth in passing yardage (3,268) and has thrown for 18 touchdowns. However, the film shows a quarterback struggling mightily with no deep threat, a leaky offensive line and, frankly, the wilting will to take a hit. Brady is still good enough to win a Super Bowl, but he’s not the same player.

9. Kirk Cousins (LW: 9)

Give Cousins credit. For years, there’s been talk about his inability to play well in primetime. The reputation was deserved. This year? Cousins has played sublimely under the lights. The Minnesota Vikings would be nowhere near the playoff picture without him.
