Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay a way from on December 5 in NBA Daily Fantasy Sports on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Golden State at Charlotte, Milwaukee at Detroit, Phoenix at Orlando
7:30 p.m. ET: Brooklyn at Atlanta, Miami at Boston
8 p.m. ET: Memphis at Chicago, Indiana at Oklahoma City
8:30 p.m. ET: Minnesota at Dallas
9 p.m. ET: LA Lakers at Utah
10 p.m. ET: Sacramento at Portland

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Spencer Dinwiddie (at ATL – $8,200 on DK; $8,700 on FD): Kyrie is still out. Dinwiddie is still playing great. And the Hawks are still the Hawks. The pace should be up in this one and Dinwiddie will certainly get his scoring numbers while chipping in with plenty of assists.

Devonte’ Graham (vs GS – $7,700 on DK; $8,300 on FD): You should always look to take advantage of the Warriors. The Hornets have some solid options at a good price because they don’t have any superstar players. You can go with Graham or Rozier in this spot and feel comfortable. I prefer Graham just because of his ceiling and consistency.

Domantas Sabonis (at OKC – $8,300 on DK; $8,800 on FD): The Pacers dominated the Thunder last time out and while this one should be more competitive, the Thunder don’t have an answer for Sabonis. He’s a guaranteed double double and his rebounding number will likely be high in this one.

Buddy Hield (at POR – $7,400 on DK; $7,400 on FD): The Blazers are in a back to back and while the Kings aren’t exactly good, Buddy Hield can fill it up in a hurry. He’ll definitely get the shots though he needs to do a little more than score to boost his overall value. At any rate, he’s guaranteed value with a high ceiling and great matchup.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at DET – $11,800 on DK; $12,400 on FD): The problem with Giannis is that he’s too good right now. There is some top notch star power on Wednesday but Giannis has the easiest matchup of the bunch. He also has the best circumstances not being on a back to back. But being too good is a worry and really the only worry.
