DraftKings NBA picks December 8: Can Toronto stop Embiid again?

There are eight games on our Sunday in the NBA, but the DraftKings NBA slates are chopped. There are only two early tips, leaving a pretty strong six game DraftKings NBA slate for the main one.

The Hawks are in action early and so is Charlotte. That means we have some players to pay for. Which injuries open up value on the early slate?

Out: Kyrie Irving (shoulder), Caris LeVert (thumb), De’Andre Hunter (finger), John Collins (suspension), Wilson Chandler (suspension), Kevin Durant (Achilles).

Questionable: Allen Crabbe (knee), Chandler Parsons (knee).

The main slate is littered with injuries as it has been with most DraftKings NBA slates so far this year. Let’s check those out to find some value on the main slate.

Out: Thomas Bryant (foot), Goran Dragic (groin), Josh Richardson (hamstring), Otto Porter (foot), Isaiah Thomas (calf), Rodney Hood (Achilles), Jordan McRae (finger), Delon Wright (groin), Dion Waiters (illness), Avery Bradley (leg), Jake Layman (toe), Hamidou Diallo (elbow), Zach Collins (shoulder), Jusuf Nurkic (leg), De’Aaron Fox (ankle), Landry Shamet (ankle), KZ Okpala (Achilles), Cristiano Felicio (wrist), Chandler Hutchison (shoulder), Andre Roberson (knee), Turd Ferguson (hip), John Wall (Achilles), C.J. Miles (wrist), Rodney McGruder (hamstring), Matt Thomas (finger), Stanley Johnson (groin), Patrick McCaw (knee), DeMarcus Cousins (knee).

Questionable: Bam Adebayo (groin), Andrew Wiggins (thumb), Marvin Bagley (thumb), Jeff Teague (ankle), Justise Winslow (back), Rajon Rondo (hamstring), Cory Joseph (back), Matisse Thybulle (ankle), JaMychal Green (back), Patrick Patterson (back), Gary Trent (hamstring), Ian Mahinmi (Achilles), Naz Reid (shoulder).

Bam is dealing with a “groin contustion/bruise,” which sounds painfully similar to a sore testicle. I’m not sure he wants to try and run with that. It’s unfortunate if he sits for us since the Bulls are a fantasy gold mine for opponents up front. That is also all the more reason for Miami to rest him since they wont need him to win.

Last night the Philly blowout of Cleveland ended up destroying my lineups. Simmons was great, but Harris, Horford, and Tristan Thompson were nowhere near where I needed them to be.

luceca8 took it down with great value from O’Quinn, Mike Scott, and Aaron Holiday to go with Westbrook, Warren, Harden, Simmons, and Julius Randle.
