DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,000): Giannis put up big numbers against Orlando since he played 35 minutes in a close game. If the Pelicans get behind, Giannis’s minutes are going to suffer in this one. However, Giannis in 25 minutes may still get you more than LeBron in a full game against an Orlando team that is pretty strong defensively.

Buddy Hield ($7,100): Hield has scored at least 20 actual points in eight straight games and is showing no signs of slowing down. Kawhi doesn’t have anything against the Raptors and was nothing special in the first meeting against them anyway. There’s no revenge narrative tonight. Just play the best fort the price. Right now, that appears to be Buddy.

Honorable Mention:

Evan Fournier ($6,400): I never thought I would reach a point where I thought Fournier was matchup-proof. We may be there now. Fournier has at least 5x value in six of the last seven and 10 of the last 12 games. The Lakers have been better than advertised on defense, but Fournier still remains a really good option on a team that needs scoring with Vucevic out.

Jabari Parker ($6,100): Parker against the team that basically let him rot for half of last year? How can you not like this matchup! Parker put up decent numbers against the Bulls the first time around. The Hawks aren’t just leaning on Parker for scoring outside of Young anymore. They are letting the bench shoulder some of the load, but the positional matchup says this is a place that Parker should dominate. He’s cheap enough to pay for and see if he can.

Dark Horses:

Draymond Green ($5,800): There are a couple of things to take away from the loss to Memphis on Monday. First off, Draymond took 13 shots and scored 16 points. That’s more involved than he has been in the offense in most games. Furthermore, Draymond played 33 minutes. If the Warriors are going to run him out there with the Youth of America for the rest of the season for that many minutes, he’s worth a flier at this price.

Joe Ingles ($5,300): Ingles has been the one seeing most of Conley’s minutes. Ingles has been the playmaker, keeping Mitchell in his familiar role. The minutes and assists are way up for Ingles even though he isn’t being relied on to score much anymore. Still, all the peripheral stats give him perhaps a better floor than he had in his old role. Ingles is worth the money for as long as Conley is out.

Abdel Nader ($3,700): Nader wasn’t doing anything with his starter’s minutes until a solid game in Utah with 22.25 DraftKings points. That is pretty much the ceiling for Nader, and we’ve seen the floor. He’s a huge risk, but there are worse options if you absolutely have to have two studs.
