DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

Anthony Davis ($10,400): This feels like another A.D. game. Orlando is really good on the perimeter, but there is a gaping hole where Vucevic used to be. Do you expect me to believe that Birch, Mo, and Aaron Gordon can handle Davis tonight? Good luck with that. Davis could absolutely dominate tonight.

Paul George ($8,400): I’m willing to overlook George’s struggles against the Bucks in a blowout loss considering what he has done to everyone else recently. Even with Kawhi in the lineup, George is the focal point of this offense. I don’t make it a point to target Toronto, but George’s price looks pretty low for what he’s been doing lately. Temper your expectations here, but 5x value looks like the floor, not the ceiling.

Domantas Sabonis ($8,200): I might actually like Turner here more if he had any modicum of consistency. Tatum may be able to handle Sabonis, but Sabonis ate the Clippers on Monday, a team that is defensively superior to Boston just about everywhere. Sabonis has at least 40 DraftKings points in every December game. I’m going to side with Sabonis in this one.

Honorable Mention:

Jayson Tatum ($7,500): We’ve seen this episode before. Tatum shows a few games where he looks like he did in the 2017-18 playoffs. Then he has a run of bad games where everyone forgets about him. Tatum has had a recent run of tough matchups and tonight against Indiana is no exception. However, he still hasn’t slowed down. Tatum has at least 35 DraftKings points in six straight and nine of the last 11. Can we actually finally trust him? I’m still nervous…..

Aaron Gordon ($6,500): I don’t like the matchup, but this price is low for the way Gordon has been playing. He’s shooting more than he did early in the season and making a lot more. The rebounds are there now. Pretty much everything we enjoyed about Gordon is back. How long will it stay?

Lauri Markkanen ($6,300): The biggest takeaway from Markkanen’s recent surge is the shot attempts. Some of that has to do with an ailing LaVine, but Chicago needs to get shots up front again too. That’s where Markkanen comes in. He has taken 46 shots in the last three games. Toronto held him down a bit, but don’t count on the ragged Hawks doing it. They were gassed in the overtime last night and only 16 hours to recover isn’t enough.

Dark Horses:

Nemanja Bjelica ($5,900): Only the Spurs have held Bjelica under 34 DraftKings points since Thanksgiving. The Thunder wont be able to do that. If Bagley manages to return tonight, Bjelica is probably still worth a look since I’m assuming the minutes limit will be rather low. Enjoy Bjeica while you still can.

P.J. Tucker ($5,300): The blowout potential is real here for the Rockets, but Tucker may be one of the guys that’s still on the court anyway. Tucker does a little of everything which gives him a nice floor. He’s also morphed into a pretty good long range shooter, which makes him a perfect fit on this team. The price is higher, but Tucker still has at least 30 DraftKings points in three of the last four games.

Ersan Ilyasova ($3,400): Using Ilyasova isn’t just playing for a blowout. Sure, a blowout would help, but Ilyasova plays about 15 minutes a game no matter what. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in three straight, and he is going to pile up points in a hurry against the Pelicans when he’s in there.
