DraftKings NBA picks December 12: The need for Embiid

It’s another light night in the Association with only four games for our DraftKings NBA tournaments. Don’t worry. We still have star power. Luka and the Mavs are in action against Drummond and the Pistons. Portland is in Denver. Philly and Boston do battle. There’s also a battle of has-beens between the Cavs and Spurs in San Antonio. Who will be sitting these melees out? Let’s check that first.

Out: Jusuf Nurkic (leg), Marcus Smart (eye), Zach Collins (shoulder), Delon Wright (thigh), Reggie Jackson (thigh), Rodney Hood (Achilles), Khyri Thomas (foot).

Questionable: Jamal Murray (trunk), Paul Millsap (foot), Robert Williams (hip), Zhaire Smith (leg).

Murray says he’ll play after a “trunk contusion” kept him from returning on Tuesday. Is he a tree? At any rate, Murray should play. Stay tuned.

I recovered from the Herro bomb last night to come out a couple bucks ahead on $1 entries despite a full fade of Harden. My core of LaVine, A.D., and Draymond paired nicely with Denzel Valentine at 1% only to be screwed over by not-so-mighty Joe Harris. Still, 311 is one of my better scores in a while, so I’m not complaining.

hmatossian had a takedown with 396.5. That build had Harden and Bucks value along with huge games from Marcus Morris, LouWill, and Teague to win it all.
