College GameDay Week 16: Best signs from Army vs. Navy

The annual Army-Navy game always brings a ton of fanfare to College GameDay and the GameDay signs always give us some of the best of the season.

There are few traditions in college football — if any at all — that come close to touching the annual Army-Navy game. The two service academies face off every year and it’s always one of the most entertaining games of the season, from the triple-option all over the place to the students and fans in attendance, it’s all wonderful — as is College GameDay’s annual trip to the game.

In 2019, the Army-Navy Game is being played at Lincoln Financial Field once again and the fans showed out in a big way once again. With it being the only game on the docket this week, it’s not like Lee Corso and the ESPN crew had any other option. However, there’s no other place they should go than this game given the prestige.

As it pertains to the actual football, Navy has been the far better team this season. However, Army has owned the rivalry as of late. Thus, it’ll be interesting to see if the Black Knights (sporting some incredible uniforms on Saturday) are able to keep that trend alive.

Even in Philadelphia, the Army and Navy fans are ready to bring the noise with their signs. This is just one of the many reasons why this is among the best, if not the absolute best traditions in college football, no matter which side you’re cheering for.
