Duds

Trae Young (vs LAL – $9,600 on DK; $9,600 on FD): Young has been around value in his last few outings, but hasn’t had the big outings he’s been known for this season. And now he has a tough matchup against the Lakers. No LeBron would be helpful because LeBron has been engaged defensively as the rover. But the Lakers overall team defense is very good and there is better value under Young with guys who have better matchups.

Spencer Dinwiddie (vs PHI – $8,200 on DK; $7,700 on FD): I never want to doubt Dinwiddie because he continues to be on a tear with Kyrie out of the lineup. But it’s a back to back and a tough matchup. He will most likely get you value in this game as he’s the lead option on a good offensive team. But you can find value with guys with higher ceilings below him.

Richaun Holmes (at GS – $4,800 on DK; $7,100 on FD): If you bottom out against the Knicks, I just can’t trust you. The return of Marvin Bagley has certainly cut into Holmes minutes and MB3 appears to be the better option in this one. The matchup is good, though the Warriors are good against the position, but I can’t trust Holmes after that Knicks performance, especially at this price. Don’t get burned and take a more reliable option elsewhere.

Mitchell Robinson (at DEN – $5,900 on DK; $6,800 on FD): Robinson has been around value or lower in his last couple of games. The Nuggets are on a back to back, which should help the Knicks until you remember they are the Knicks. A guy like Randle, who is around the same price, is going to offer more upside than Robinson. He did play well against the Nuggets in the meeting earlier this month, which should help, but I’m not sold on him.
