Once all the action in the Octagon is in the history books, watch the UFC 245 post-fight press conference here.

Once all of the matchups at UFC 245, which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, are wrapped up, check out the UFC 245 post-fight press conference here.

At the conference, UFC President Dana White and several fighters who competed on the UFC 245 card will address the media.

The main event sees the long-awaited clash between defending welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and former interim champion Colby Covington. The bitter rivals have traded verbal insults for months now and have gotten into near brawls on more than one occasion.

A former NCAA Division-II champion and All-American, Usman went 5-1 before earning a UFC contract by winning The Ultimate Fighter season 21. He won all nine of his bouts in the Octagon before defeating Tyron Woodley for the 170-pound title earlier this year at UFC 235.

Covington, a former NCAA Division-I All-American, went 5-0 before signing with the UFC in 2014, and he entered tonight with a 10-1 Octagon record and a seven-fight win streak. Covington defeated Rafael dos Anjos for the interim title at UFC 225 but was stripped for being unable to unify with Woodley. He returned to action at UFC Newark in August, defeating Robbie Lawler.

UFC 245 also featured two other title clashes. Max Holloway defends his UFC featherweight title and 14-featherweight-fight win streak on the line against Alexander Volkanovski, who has won 17 in a row and is unbeaten in the UFC. Meanwhile, champ-champ Amanda Nunes, looking for her 10th straight win, defends the UFC women’s bantamweight title against former women’s featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie.

The winners of the three title fights are scheduled to be at the press conference, talking about their victories and what is next for them. The losers, if cleared and allowed, may also appear to discuss where they go from here.

Some of the main card’s other participants — Marlon Moraes, Jose Aldo, Petr Yan and Urijah Faber — may also make an appearance.

When White addresses the media, he will discuss the events of tonight, as well as any news and rumors surrounding the UFC. He will also hand out post-fight bonuses, naming the UFC 239 Fight of the Night (if any) and performance bonuses.

The UFC’s next event is UFC Busan, which takes place on Dec. 21 and marks the end of the UFC’s 2019 schedule. The main event will see Frankie Edgar — coming off a failed featherweight title challenge and with a scheduled bantamweight debut in January — filling in for Brian Ortega to take on “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung, who finished Renato Moicano in 58 seconds at UFC Greenville.

The UFC’s next pay-per-view and first event of 2020 is UFC 246, which happens Jan. 18 and also takes place at the T-Mobile Arena. The headline bout sees the return of Conor McGregor, as he meets Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in a welterweight battle of fan favorites.

UFC 245 takes place on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Follow along with FanSided MMA, who will be on-site for the whole week, for all your live results and highlights.
