Archie Manning Division

16. Derek Carr (LW: 15)

Carr is fine. He’s not going to win a Super Bowl unless surrounded by absolutely elite talent. This is where the Raiders have to think long and hard. Can he consistently help them compete in a division with Patrick Mahomes? Probably not.

15. Philip Rivers (LW: 14)

Rivers is about to play his final two games with the Chargers. He’s had a great career, but at 38 years old, his skills are largely eroding. Against Minnesota, a Benny Hill-style fumble and three interceptions. Ugly.

14. Jared Goff (LW: 13)

Goff is a terrific quarterback when the conditions are right, his feet are clean and the pocket is robust. If anything is going wrong, he’s Jim Everett. The Rams better invest heavily in an offensive line this offseason.

13. Jameis Winston (LW: 17)

Winston is about to have a 5,000-yard season with more than 30 touchdown passes. Yes, the turnovers are brutal, but if he’s giving the Buccaneers that kind of output, you live with the mistakes. Bruce Arians has done a nice job with him and the team.
