DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Russell Westbrook ($8,900): Westbrook has been better than Harden for the price lately. Russ has four straight games of more than 50 DraftKings points. Harden was better against the Warriors the first time around,  but a lot has changed since then. Still, this is a solid price on Westbrook. I can see using both him and Harden hitting value, but I’m not sure you want to fade LeBron on this slate.

Kyle Lowry ($8,500): Lowry didn’t put up huge numbers with VanVleet out, but he has with Siakam out. Lowry put up 49.5 DraftKings points on Boston the first time around. This looks like a place to go after Boston with no Siakam up front. I see another strong game from Lowry, especially in this price range.

Honorable Mention:

Ben Simmons ($8,100): The Bucks have had issues defending the point even when Bledsoe is in there. It has been even worse without. I tend to think that this game will be dominated by Embiid and Giannis, but Simmons is kind of a sneaky play here if you can make the money work. I don’t know how much sneaking he’ll be able to do after that big game on Monday though.

Kemba Walker ($8,000): This is a tough slate because of all the stars on it. Even the secondary pieces are pretty expensive. This is a tough matchup for Kemba, but he did have 40.5 DraftKings points against Toronto the first time around. Walker is really a GPP only option due to all of the good options in the same range, even at the same position.

Jamal Murray ($7,100): Don’t worry about that hiccup against the Lakers. Plenty of teams have problems with the Lakers. Other than that game, Murray has been over 40 DraftKings points in four straight. This is a dream matchup against the Pelicans, who have been the worst team in the perimeter for much of the season as far as defense goes. I like Murray in this price range.

Dark Horses:

Rajon Rondo ($4,700): Rondo just keeps putting up solid numbers off the Lakers bench. He carries some risk because you never really know which way the Lakers are going to go. I would expect this to be a solid game for Rondo, but his upside is capped on this team. The situation is even worse considering that the doesn’t start. However, we are going to need value somewhere. This is a decent place to get it.

Lonzo Ball ($4,500): I usually hate using Lonzo. However, he has got to the point where he is putting up solid numbers every game, especially with his price this low. Ball has at least 25 DraftKings points in six straight and seven of eight. That’s a nice bargain for the price, especially when you consider the last two games he’s been over 30.

George Hill ($4,300): Hill has outperformed DiVincezo of late and he’s still almost $1000 cheaper. I don’t mind that Hill comes off the bench. How much upside can you really expect at this price anyway? Hill has still touched 8x value a few times and is usually right around 6x. I’ll take it.
