DraftKings NBA Centers:

Best Bets:

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,500): I would be pretty surprised if KAT didn’t play here. The Kings are one of the teams that Minnesota needs to stay in front of if they want a playoff spot. Towns is a constant threat to hit 60 DraftKings points. Tonight is no different provided that Towns isn’t on a minutes limit.

Andre Drummond ($10.000): Drummond abused Washington for 58.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting. He’ll have a lot more than that if this game stays close. That said, I don’t really see how it does. Washington is down to about their fifth center and they were desperate enough to raid the G-League. Drummond will rebound at will, but his upside is capped with the blowout potential very high.

Honorable Mention:

Rudy Gobert ($8,900): Gobert has back to back games over 50 DraftKings points and has only been under 40 once this month. That was against the Lakers, so we can even excuse that. The slow start is a distant memory now. Gobert should be in for another strong night against Portland.

Hassan Whiteside ($7,700): I’m not going to insult your intelligence and paint this as an easy matchup for Whiteside. My main interest here is that the price feels low. Whiteside has only been under 40 DraftKings points once all month and he still hit value for this price. Whiteside is a sure thing tonight, even if he does lack upside.

Dark Horses:

Jonas Valanciunas ($6,100): This price is ridiculous. Jonas has at least 38 DraftKings points in four straight games despite not playing more than 30 minutes in any of them. In fact, he only played more than 25 once! That highlights the risk here, but Valanciunas has always done a lot with a little. I love the upside and the risk is minimal.

Richaun Holmes ($5,800): This could be a huge game for Holmes if Towns remains out. Even if Towns is in there, I like Holmes a lot for the price. The Kings give Holmes more run than Philly ever did and the big man has produced very good lines most of the season. Holmes has 140.75 DraftKings points over the last four games. He comes at a nice discount tonight.

Ian Mahinmi ($4,800): Washington has increased the minutes on Mahinmi mostly because they have had to. The good news for the Wizards is that he is holding up to the workload and putting up decent stats. You know what you’re getting out of Mahinmi. He’s not going to break 40 DraftKings points anytime soon. However, he will constantly get you between 5 and 6x value.
