DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Luka Doncic ($11,600): If Luka plays, I expect a strong game from him. The Thunder are middle of the pack against point guards, and Luka has shown time and again that average wont stop him. Sometimes even elite wont cut it. 60 DraftKings points wont be an issue unless his wrist is. Stay tuned….

Kyle Lowry ($8,800): Both Harden and Westbrook were underwhelming in the first meeting with Denver, so it makes sense to go with Lowry against the Cavs. Lowry put up 44 DraftKings points on them in the first meeting. With Cleveland playing well, we could even see this be a competitive game, which boosts Lowry’s value a little more.

Honorable Mention:

Jamal Murray ($6,800): Murray has been all over the place for production lately. Houston has been surprisingly tough on point guards lately, but Murray did put up 35.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting. This isn’t a must-play because of Murray’s sporadic production of late, but he’s still worth considering given the matchup and the four game slate.

Collin Sexton ($5,800): On paper, Toronto is tough on guards. However, both Oklahoma City guards had good games over the weekend and Sexton was able to put up 36.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Raptors. Sexton is getting a lot of usage with Clarkson out of town, and his scoring has taken a bit of a leap as well. Exum is a different kind of player, so the scoring should be here to stay for Sexton. He has 95.75 DraftKings points in the three games without Clarkson. That’s a good return for the price.

Dark Horses:

Delon Wright ($4,600): Wright seems to hold value whether Luka plays or not, but with Luka and THJ both questionable, Wright could be in for a huge night. Wright has 91 DraftKings points in 62 minutes over the last three games. Think of what kind of damage he could do if he plays 30 minutes in a game.

Ky Bowman ($3,100): Bowman has three straight games of 5x value or more, so if he is able to take the court, I still like him as a value play. He has proven this year that he really has no upside, but he’s a solid enough performer in the 20 minutes he plays so long as his price doesn’t go up. I prefer Burks, but Bowman probably isn’t going to hurt you any.
